My name is Tim Eaves I am married with 3 sons. We are members of Trinity Heights Baptist Church in Shreveport, Louisiana. Christianity is a very important to us. We prefer to keep God as the focus of all we do. I feel that God has blessed me with the opportunity to spread his word while doing something I love - racing. On Friday nights, I race at Sabine Motor Speedway in Many, LA. On Saturdays, I race at Ark-La-Tex Speedway in Vivian, LA. I was the track points champion at Ark-La-Tex Speedway for 2005 and points champion at both Sabine and Ark-La-Tex in 2006. I race at Champion Park (or anywhere I can) if Ark-La-Tex is not racing. In 2006, I was 1st in IMCA state points and 2nd nationally. I began racing years ago on a drag stip. I went on to race Cage Karts and then 4 wheelers. I've been racing Sport Mods (Limited Modifieds) for the past 4 years (SIMS and IMCA). I am the owner of my car and for the most part do the work myself (I don't have a "pit crew"). I have a little help from a few sponsors. First and foremost, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ has blessed me with the opportunity to race, Cliff does my motor work, my decals and numbers come from my buddies at Barton Glass and M & M Finance Corp contributes money. |
